Former Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha can now breath some fresh air after finding favour once again from President William Ruto who has nominated her to a new role.
In a circular released on Thursday 20, March by the head of Public Service Felix Koskei, Nakhumicha has gotten her name mentioned to be Kenyan Permanent Representative to the UN Habitat in Nairobi.
After falling a victim of the few who lost their positions in the cabinet on July 11, 2024 following President Ruto’s then major announcement to dissolve his Cabinet, Nhakumicha can now have a sigh of relief to be back to government.
Apart from Nhakumicha, Eng. Peter Tum who also lost his position as Sports Principal Secretary, has now been nominated as Kenya’s Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Trade PS Alfred Ombudo K’Ombudo has, on his part, been nominated as the Deputy Head of Mission in Belgium while his East African Community (EAC) counterpart Abdi Dubat Fidhow was picked as Consul-General in Arusha, Tanzania.
