CS Kindiki Lists Illicit Breweries As One Of The Top Three Dangers To National Security

Illegal brews are one of the top three national security dangers, according to Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki.

The CS claimed that the administration has determined what dangers to the future of the nation they saw.

“Trade, usage, and misuse of illegal beverages as well as narcotics and psychoactive substances come in third behind terrorism and banditry. If this issue is not resolved, it is likely to have a significant negative impact on Kenya’s future, according to Kindiki. According to the CS, the ministry is pursuing sellers of illegal brews.

In an effort to put an end to the custom, Kindiki stated on Friday that the ministry will wage a campaign akin to the one he had started against the robbers.

We will camp in places ravaged by illicit alcohol and drug misuse, including the Mt. Kenya region where we are right now, and conduct a comparable, if not more ferocious struggle against the terror of illicit booze, narcotics, and psychiatric chemicals, he stated.

He declared, “We will approach it with the same vigor, attention, devotion, and decisiveness as we have engaged in approaching terrorism and banditry.”
