Northlands City Raiders Return Dorper Sheep Worth 900K

Goons who raided the Kenyatta family’s Northlands City farm have returned part of the stolen sheep in an anonymous tactic.

Northlands City farm security manager, Patrick Masinde revealed that by Thursday, April 13, they had already recovered 18 Dorper sheep worth Ksh900,000 from the stolen property worth Ksh. 70 million, during a raid on March 27. He added that the goons used cars to drop off the sheep near the farm’s fence along the Eastern Bypass and immediately slipped away for fear of being identified.

Some goons are reported to have opted to drop the sheep at the gates of police stations near the farm after five sheep were dropped at the gates of Dandora police station.

The police would then call in representatives from the Kenyatta family farm to identify the sheep through special marks. According to Mr. Masinde, the sheep were not in a good condition at the time of their return and therefore those who had the remaining sheep are urged to return them to the farm for them to be attended to.

“We are optimistic about the process so far, we have since recovered 18 sheep. Since these are not traditional breeds that feed anyhow,” Masinde stated.

The March 27 raid led to the Kenyattas losing 1400 sheep and an unknown number of trees cut down by the goons. One dorper sheep is said to be costing ksh. 50,000.
