Charity Ngilu Breaks Long Silence, Gives Reason for Disappearance in Raila’s Demos

After a huge and long noise of silence on political matters within the country, the former Kitui governor Charity Ngilu has finally coughed out first words giving reasons why she abandoned Raila’s Call for reforms and demonstrations in the past few weeks.

According to Ngilu, she has not and will never turn her back to giving Raila Odinga her sincere handful support as she entrust the Azimio chief leader to be one who has put Kenya in the centre of his heart.

In that regard, she made it crystal clear that she still supports the Azimio leader but has taken a break for others to lead the reforms because her current age cannot allow her take puffs of teargas anymore.

She narrates that her journey to sniffing teargas routes all the way from 1992. As a result, she hands over the task to the likes of Kalonzo Musyoka to lead the team into bringing new face to this country.

Further, she stated that Azimio coalition leader Raila had a transparent road map for the country unlike what’s happening with Kenya Kwanza.

Concerning the bipartisan approach that the head of state talked about, Mrs Ngilu emphasized that it ought to be conducted in a transparent and open way for Kenyans and herself to know of what’s being discussed.

She also maintained her stand that president William Ruto must listen to grievances presented by Azimio to avoid more scenes of possible demonstrations.

Conclusively, she raised Odinga’s head asking the former Prime Minister to never relent but instead push harder and ensure the country is headed in the right direction
