The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has announced that it will hold an urgent Central Committee meeting on Monday to discuss key party matters. The meeting comes at a time when questions have emerged over the party’s position in the broad-based government formed earlier this year.
ODM Deputy Party Leader Abdulswamad Nassir confirmed that the session will be chaired by interim party leader Oburu Odinga. He said the meeting will focus on strengthening internal unity and addressing concerns raised by members over recent developments within the party.
The move follows growing speculation about internal divisions, as some ODM leaders have expressed contrasting opinions on whether the party should continue cooperating with the government.
