“I am Ready to be the Leader of the Official Opposition.” – Kalonzo Musyoka

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has said that he is ready to become the official opposition leader following Raila Odinga’s decision to vie for the AUC chairmanship.

Kalonzo, speaking at the SKM command center today, reiterated that the country will experience an opposition like never before.

“Yes, I am ready to be the Leader of the Official Opposition. This is the TEAM. You will see the Opposition like never before. We may be light in numbers in Parliament, but outside, we have the People of Kenya,” said Kalonzo.

The former VP had earlier warned that he would organize a protest against the proposed funding model introduced by President William Ruto’s government, but he did not specify a date for the protests.

This comes even as Martha Karua mentioned that her party, NARC Kenya, was to chart its own path following her exit from the Azimio La Umoja Coalition.
