Sababisha Festival Defers Shenseea’s Kenyan Performance

The much-antincipated Kenyan concert by Jamaican dancehall artist, Shenseea, has been postponed. The concert was initially slated for August 26 but it has been moved to a later date in October.

The Sababisha festival event organizers shared the heartbreaking news through a press release on their Instagram page. They disclosed that the decision was mutual between their company and the Jamaican artist’s management. However, they regretted the disruption as they indicated that it was a challenging choice they had to make.

Shenseea’s Kenyan fans will be forced to exercise more patience on the performance despite their thorough preparation. The news comes as a great disappointment to them as most of them referred to the concert as a “must-attend event”. However, they eagerly wait for the rescheduled dates.

The festival was earlier set to take place at Uhuru Gardens. However, the organizers had set an age limit of 21 years and above to everyone willing to attend the event. The entrance fee was Sh. 3000 for ordinary citizens and Sh. 8000 for VIP.
