The Muraya’s have come out to clear the air on the reasons why they missed Esther Akoth’s alias Akothee, wedding.
On Tuesday,Disc Jockey Sammy Muraya popularly known as DJ Mo, explained that he and his wife, Size 8, had been invited at the wedding but they were out of town. The couple had received the invitation card but the wedding day coincided with their other plans. The couple was among the ones that missed the ceremony and had to explain to Kenyans before they came into a harsh conclusion.
“Watu was maswali tu. Yes, we were also invited… but we were not around…came back late,” the DJ said.
Artist Wahu also explained why she never attended the wedding where she stated that she couldn’t make it since her last born, Shiru, needed medical attention. She wished Mr and Mrs Omosh all the best in their new journey.
“Here’s wishing you all God’s blessings as you begin this beautiful journey together. I feel bad for not being able to attend as my little boss Miss Shi isn’t well. With you in spirit, and cheering you on as you start your forever journey together! Here’s to Mr & Mrs. Omosh,” Wahu said.
Other renown celebrities and public figures who missed the ceremony include Maina Kageni, Guardian Angel and his wife Esther Musila, KRG the Don, Vera Sidika, Carol Radul, , Risper Faith and Mwalimu Churchill.
However, on Monday the wedding was graced by cabinet secretaries, politicians and celebrities from all over the country. Those who attended include Lillian Muli, Lofty Matambo, Fridah Mwaka, Wilbroda, media personality Alex Mwakideu, Billy Miya, Mwende Macharia, Dr. Ofweneke, comedian Eric Omondi, Phoina Tosha, Janet Mbugua, J Blessing, DJ Piera Makena, MC Jessy, Mo Momanyi, Betty Kyallo, Moya David, the Kabus, Mama Ida Odinga, nominated senator Karen Nyamu, Lang’ata MP Jalang’o, Cabinet Secretary Aisha Jumwa, Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o and his wife Dorothy, MP Millie Odhiambo, former Chief Administrative Secretary David Osiany and his wife Syombua, singer Bahati and his wife Diana Marua, Comedian Terence Creative and his wife Milly Chebby, YouTuber Kabi wa Jesus and his wife Milly Wa Jesus, YouTuber Mungai Eve and her lover Director Trevor among others.
