Rayvanny Wins A DIAFA Award,Becomes The First East African Artist To Bag The International Award

Tanzanian singer Rayvanny has proven to be a step ahead after winning an international award that no East African Musician has ever brought home.

The I Love You hit maker won the Distinctive International Arab Festivals Award DIAFA that took place in Dubai at the Dubai Harbor Creek Marina.

The award is always held to honor distinguished international and Arab personalities.

The artiste was among those honoured by the country for his achievements.

Rayvanny outrightly dedicated his award to his President Her Excellency Samia Suluhu when he got in stage to receive the award.

“Naitoa Tuzo hii kwa Rais wangu Samia Suluhu Hassan, ni Rais wa kwanza Mwanamke kwenye Taifa letu….(I want to dedicate this award to my President Samia Suluhu Hassan. She is the first female President in the history of our country,)” he said while the crowd cheered on.

Rayvanny a.k.a Vanny Boy went on narrating how much the award meant to him while also expressing absolute gratitude to DIAFA for deeming him worthy of the recognition.

This is notably not the first time the Music guru is receiving international recognition as he was also nominated for the 19th edition of Premios Juventud awards that took place in Spain in June. He was nominated in the OMG Collaboration category.
