Business woman Anerlisa Muigai has celebrated her freedom after finalizing her divorce with her Tanzanian Musician husband,Ben Pol.
Muigai shared the news on social media thanking her lawyers for ensuring the process was fast.
“OFFICIALLY FREE. It would not be fair to not give a shout out to these two advocates who worked tirelessly to make sure that the divorce was done quickly and not wait for years. Hamza Jahir and Hosea Chamba, thank you for your work and doing everything as requested,” she penned on social media.
Ben Pol and Anerlisa tied the knot in Tanzania 2020 after a glamorous ruracio that was held in Kenya.
Their union however didn’t last and after a few months into the marriage, they went separate ways.The two had given different reasons for parting ways including infidelity and rushing into marriage before understanding each other completely.
Speaking in an interview back in 2021, Ben Pol revealed that he had filed for divorce and they had no feelings towards each other.
“It’s true I filed for Divorce but the process is still ongoing.Divorce takes time and that’s why legally we are still married but emotionally we are detached.”He said.
After filing for divorce, the couple moved on and Anerlisa Muigai is currently dating Melvin Ibrahim who she says knows how to treat her right.
