KPLC Announces System Hitch

The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC), which is mandated to ensure that there is adequate line capacity to maintain supply and quality of electricity across the country, has announced a technicality in their system.

In a notice dated Friday, May 26, 2023 at 2:20pm, the power company; has urged customers to exercise patience promising to remedy the situation in a short period of time.

We are experiencing a systems hitch which is affecting the purchase of electricity tokens and payment of bills.” Read in part of their notice statement.

However, the company as they apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Our ICT team is working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. We apologize to out customers for the inconvenience caused.” The statement added
