Kenya Kwanza has named a 5 member team that will enter talks with Azimio La Umoja after the back and forth negotiations bore no fruit .
In a statement issued to the media by the coalition , the members include National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichungwa, Senate Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot, Cecily Mbarire, Hassan Omar, and Catherine Wambilianga.
Kenya Kwanza further declared that they will only engage in the 4 agenda items, which include reconstitution of IEBC, the implementation of ⅔ gender rule, establishment of office of the Prime minister and the embodiment of the office of the Prime Cabinet secretary
Azimio La Umoja released their dialogue team, which will be led by Kalonzo Musyoka and include Opiyo Wandayi and Eugene Wamalwa, among others.
The aim of the dialogue is to end the contentious issues that have led to demonstrations called by Azimio that have claimed the lives of Kenyans.
