Inauguration Proceedings Of President Elect William Ruto To Air Live On Channel 197 Across Africa

Head of State’s Commendation Dennis Itumbi revealed that the new President’s William Ruto communication team chose a contractor to cover the inauguration of the 5th President of the republic of Kenya.

Replying to a fan on twitter, Itumbi explained that the MultiChoice media is 40% owned by government via Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) which will air the ceremony live across Africa with the reason for contracting rather than using local media being to avoid bias coverage.

He wrote, “There is channel that will stream across Africa showing the inauguration. Channel 197.”

As the preparation get to the top gear for the swearing in of Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua on Tuesday 13th September at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani, with thousands of Kenyans, 21 heads of state and a number of heads of missions expected to grace the ceremony which will begin at 10.00pm.

The Head of Public Service Dr. Joseph Kinyua who is chairing the handover process of the office of President committee earlier noted that security has since been tightened and assured the public of a seamless assumption of office.

According to the law as prescribed in the third schedule, the President elect will assume office by subscribing to the oath of allegiance to be administered by the Chief of Registrar Anne Amadi and confirmed by the Chief Justice Martha Koome.
