CS Justin Muturi Says He Won’t Accompany William Ruto In Upcoming Mt Kenya Tour

Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi has revealed he will skip the president’s upcoming tour of Mt Kenya.

President William Ruto is expected to tour the Mt Kenya region in the coming days. It will be the first tour of the Mt Kenya region since Rigathi Gachagua was impeached. Gachagua since then has been on a public talk where, on several occasions, he has claimed that the region has already moved on from him and they will never vote for him again. Justin Muturi has now claimed that he would not have any business in the tour of the president.

Muturi explained that he does not follow the president if he does not have any business.”I just don’t follow the president. So unless it is something that touches the ministry that I am in, I have no business trooping around to follow the president,” said the CS. “Even when Uhuru was president, it was never my practice or habit to follow him where he went because, you know, as a president, he has his schedule of work, and I also have my schedule of work when I was a speaker and even now,” he added.
