Edwin Chiloba’s family Says He Was a Christian, Dismisses LGBTQ Claims

The family fashion designer Edwin Kirpotich who was popularly known as Chiloba has trashed on a serious note, claims that their son was a diehard member of LGBTQ community, as social media virally reports it.

“As a family, we know our child came to university, he was in his fourth year. These other things we are seeing on social media we don’t know,” read in the statement made by the family.

While addressing the public on the said sentiments, Mr Caudentia Tanui who is the family spokesperson made it crystal clear that the late Edwin Kiprotich Kiptoo has been brought up within a Christian setting.

The family spokesperson therefore dusted with emphasis the alleged speculations, adding that their loved and dearest one was a member of YCS during his moments in school.

He unveiled the nickname, that Chiloba was once dubbed a ‘pastor’ by his friends and fellows.

“He was brought up as a Christian. At St. Francis Kimuron he was called ‘pastor’ and he was a student leader in charge of YCS so these other things we are hearing we do not know we are just seeing it online,” he said.

Conclusively, the late Chiloba’s family has pleaded with social media users and Kenyans to cease spreading wrong information about their son whose body was discovered stuffed in a metallic box in Kipkenyo, Eldoret, on Wednesday, January, 4 2023.

The family is also hopeful that justice will prevail for their son.
