Akothee Reacts To Ng’iya Girls Highschool’s Event Revocation

Flamboyant artist and businesswoman Esther Akoth aka Akothee has finally responded to the Ng’iya Girls High School’s revoked mentorship invitation.

Via her Facebook page, Akothee maturely accepted the cancellation in a long post. She commended the institution for acknowledging and considering her as their mentor before things turned sour. The businesswoman expressed her gratitude towards the school’s senior principal, Madam Hellen, for her kindness and unending support to the vulnerable and less fortunate in the society. She also reminisced her first encounter with Madam Hellen at Sinyolo Girls’ charity event.

“Thank you very much Madam Helen ,may The almighty bless your heart . I met you in Sinyolo Girls and you stole my heart with your kindness, you made my work of admitting the less fortunate easy ,even though I was late πŸ™thank you very much for helping me support the vulnerable, you saw it fit to help you walk the journey of the underprivileged, but there is a way the universe works for us,” the artist partly wrote.

Additionally, the mother of five made a hilarious remark on her cancellation making the institution to be acknowledged globally since the event revokation went viral. She appreciated the senior principal for believing in her as she wished the institution all the best as they embark on new projects. Madam Boss also promised to back any course that may need her support as long as it is meant to make a positive impact in the society.

“Ngiya Girls High school is now on the map ,known globally, even those who didnt know Ngiya Girls ,Now they know 🀣🀣, I pray that your new development of having a foundation within the school will uplift alot of souls. πŸ’ͺ
I really appreciate the love and faith you have for meπŸ™. I will still support any course that will leave a positive impact to our society.
I will still support where I can even from where I am standing,” she added.

Akothee called out the clergy who is allegedly behind the event cancellation. She asked him to pray for “sinners” like her to make it to heaven.

“To the Arch Bishop I understand where you are coming from , continue praying for us sinners ,so we could all meet in heaven on that day πŸ™i.
In Jesus name Amen πŸ™,” Akothee wrote.

Last weekend, Akothee had been invited to deliver a mentorship speech to the High School Girls during the launch of charity activities in the institution. However, the school was forced to cancel the invitation after several personalities including an arch bishop protested Akothee’s attendance as the mentor. They felt that the artist didn’t fit the position.
