The leaders, accompanied by chase cars and security personnel, made their way to the stadium in anticipation of the festivities. Among the notable figures in attendance were National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula, Senate counterpart Amason Kingi, Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mithika Linturi, Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki, and Council of Governors Chairperson Ann Waiguru, who also serves as the Governor of Kirinyaga.

Additionally, notable individuals present included Tvet Principal Secretary Esther Mworia, Public Works Principal Secretary, Defense Principal Secretary, as well as Members of Parliament Ndidi Nyoro from Kiharu, Dennis Munene Igamba Ng’ombe, Manyatta MP Gitonga Mukunji, Makadara MP Jalang’o, and several other local leaders.
