Matiang’i Holds A Meeting Of UPA Party Leaders To Ratify An Alliance With Ruto

A National Delegates Convention for the United Progressive Alliance party, a group associated with former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i, will be held at a Nairobi hotel on Friday.

It would be expected of the delegates, who were selected from around the nation, to adopt radical motions, such as supporting cooperation with Kenya Kwanza, the administration of President William Ruto. Amos Nyaribo, the governor of Nyamira and the leader of the UPA, is presiding over a meeting of the National Executive Committee before the NDC later this afternoon.

A few weeks prior, Nyaribo had stated that the UPA will collaborate with Kenya Kwanza for the benefit of development.
