Azimio supporters in Kisumu have Stormed a meeting by Communications Authority of Kenya (CAK) causing disruption among the participants of the meeting.
This comes ahead of 20th March that Raila Odinga had earlier threatened to conduct a mass protest countrywide against Ruto’s government.
In a blink, after Director of Communications Authority (CA) Mr General Ezra Chiloba had finished presiding over the Wednesday meeting at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga sports ground, the protestors stormed fiercely into the venue marching while waving anti-Ruto’s government carrying twigs and sufurias.
They could also be heard shouting and chanting anti-Eliud Owalo’s slogans despite the ICT Cabinet Secretary being absent for the conference he was expected to chair.
The Azimio protesters upon finding routes into the venue, they took lanes direct to where food, drinking bottles of water, juices and other foodstuff were placed.
They then made sure they enjoyed their delicacy energizing themselves to amplify their grievance on higher cost of living.
In bid to ensure peace of participants prevail, the Kisumu Central DCC Hussein Hussein together security officials kept eye in ensuring safety took the air.
The Azimio leaders said to have led the demonstration including Deputy Governor Dr Mathew Owili, Kisumu Central MP Joshua Oron who had earlier led the protestors in a march from Kondele region, pledged to keep protesting against Kenya Kwanza way of governance till it’s Monday 20th on a mega-protest day in Nairobi.
