16 Pupils Confirmed Dead in Hillside Endarasha Academy Fire Tragedy

At least 16 pupils have been confirmed dead following a tragic fire at Hillside Endarasha Academy in Kieni, Nyeri, last night. National Police Service Spokesperson, Resila Onyango, confirmed the incident to The Star, stating that 14 other students were injured in the blaze.

“We have 16 pupils dead and 14 injured. We are investigating the cause and will take necessary action,” Onyango said.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire as the community mourns the devastating loss.
