William Kabogo Denies Decline In Ruto’s Popularity In Mt Kenya

The ICT cabinet secretary has denied that William Ruto’s popularity in the Mt. Kenya region has declined.

Since the successful impeachment of former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, President William Ruto’s popularity in the region has gone down. He has not been seen at a public event in the region, as he has opted to take his tours in other places in the country. Rigathi Gachagua has been very vocal since he was impeached, and he said that the Mt. Kenya region had moved on from the betrayal from William Ruto and he will never be supported again.

William Kabogo, who hails from the Mt. Kenya region, has now revealed that he will soon tour the region. “Those saying there are issues in the mountain are wrong. There is no problem in the mountain. I will go there and will take President William Ruto’s greetings, and they will be welcomed. What is there is akin to the frog making noise, which would not stop the cow from drinking water…The noise that you are hearing in Mt. Kenya directed at the president will soon come to an end. The region has no problem with the government,” Kabogo said.

Kabogo was appointed as a cabinet secretary among other individuals from the region after a short meeting between former president Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto.
