Wandayi: Given a Choice, I’ll Go with Ruto Anytime

Energy Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi says President William Ruto is a better choice for the next government, compared to opposition figures like Fred Matiang’i.

Speaking in Ugunja, Siaya county, Wandayi strongly dismissed thirsts for opposition leaders to form the next government, saying none of the opposition leaders can represent transformation in this country.

“If you give me a choice between Gachagua, Kalonzo, Matiang’i…etc on one side and President William Ruto on the other side, I can tell you without any fear of contradiction that I will go with Ruto any day any time,” said Wandayi.

He claimed Ruto is heading the country in the right direction, condemning the opposition for their continued attacks on the broad-based government.

The CS further praised the broad-based government, highlighting the support from ODM party leader Raila Odinga as a master key in the administration’s efforts to revamp Kenya’s economy.

“The broad-based government has made great efforts to turn around the economy of this country and to make life more bearable,” he added.

Urging Kenyans to strongly back up government initiatives, Wandayi noted that the government has taken significant steps to improve the quality of life for Kenyans.
