The directive from the Education CS Prof. George Magoha for the immediate closure of learning
institutions on 2nd August has not only had uproar from everyone but has caused death scares to
students.
This is after several students from the Sironga Girls Secondary school sustained minor injuries in a car
accident along the Kissi-Sotik road; this is according to Kiss Fm.
The accident occurred when a police car collided with the vehicle ferrying the students to Nairobi. There
was no death case reported after the accident.
According to an eye witness the police car was over speeding and tried to overlap the vehicle that was
full of students before it lost control and hit it and crashed into a ditch.
The students were provided with another car and travelled to their destinations.
