Spiro Opens First Mega Battery Swap Station in Kenya

Spiro Kenya has launched a mega swap station located at Bishan Plaza in Westlands, the Mega Battery Swap Station has been built with significant surplus capacity to support Nairobi’s rapidly growing electric mobility ecosystem.With the ability to house and simultaneously charge more than 200 batteries, the facility is strategically positioned to meet current demand while creating capacity for the continued expansion of electric motorcycles across the city.

Operating around the clock, the station ensures riders have continuous access to fully charged batteries whenever they need them. Situated in one of Nairobi’s busiest commercial districts,the facility serves a large rider community, providing the confidence that reliable energy isalways within reach. This enhanced availability helps reduce downtime, supports higher daily earnings, and enables riders to keep moving throughout the day.
