Peter Kaluma has hit out at former president Uhuru Kenyatta’s message to Gen Z.
On Friday, during a burial ceremony in Muthaiga, retired president Uhuru Kenyatta urged the young generation of the country, including his daughter, to fight for their rights against the political class. His words came at a time when Gen Z have been critical of the Kenya Kwanza administration under William Ruto for the way he has been leading the country in his first term.It is to be remembered that Gen Z took to the streets last year to protest against the financial bill.
Kaluma has now hit out at Uhuru Kenyatta for his comments, which appeared to have been inciting: “It is wrong for former President Uhuru Kenyatta to appear like he is inciting revolt against the government, which is doing all it can to correct the mistakes of his regime.” He said.
On Sunday, Ruto hit out at his former boss for saying that leaders should restrain themselves from inciting the youths who are currently looking for job opportunities.
