“We Will Wake Up Early To Send Ruto Home” Ferdinand Waititu Says

Ferdinand Waititu has told William Ruto that he will not get votes again from the Mt. Kenya region.

President William Ruto’s popularity in the Mt. Kenya region has been going down since the successful impeachment of former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua. He was successfully ousted from his position after a motion was brought by Mwengi Mutuse. Kithure Kindiki was appointed as his replacement. Since then, several leaders from the region have vowed to never support the president again.

Speaking on Sunday afternoon, Ferdinand Waititu said that Mt. Kenya region will wake up early to send Ruto home early in the 2027 elections. “After what Ruto did to Gachagua, no one in the Mt. Kenya region will vote for him. The same way we woke up very early to vote for him.Come 2027, we will wake up even earlier to take him home.We will bring in a government made up of Gachagua, Kalonzo, Wamalwa, Natembeya, and Matiang’i.” He said.

Gachagua has hinted at forming a coalition with Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and several other leaders in a bid to defeat William Ruto in his reelection campaign.
