Asserting hypocrisy in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer/questioning (LGBTQ) debate, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has lambasted some religious leaders in Kenya.
Mr. Sudi claims that some religious leaders who are supposed to be role models are living contrary to African traditions and culture as well as the sacred books.
The MP challenged the clergy to take the lead and preach against LGBTQ issues in the country during a speech given while presiding over the disbursement of CDF funds to various schools in his constituency. He also accused some pastors and bishops of remaining silent on the issue despite being gay themselves.
He also blasted people who supported the LGBTQ lifestyle, calling it a diabolical agenda and an abomination in society.
