Several opposition leaders, including Martha Karua and Rigathi Gachagua, held a meeting yesterday.
Fresh from attending Martha Karua’s new party, several political leaders seem to be headed for a common goal, which is to unite ahead of the 2027 general elections. Yesterday, led by Martha Karua, the leaders, who included former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, and activist Morara Kebaso, were pictured in a closed-door meeting. Just days earlier, Ruto said they have nothing new to offer to Kenya. The politicians seem to be headed for a coalition to challenge Ruto in the 2027 general elections.
Martha Karua said after the meeting that they have a common goal of liberating Kenyans. “We are ready to unite under a common purpose to liberate our people,” she wrote.Kalonzo Musyoka added that they share a common bond and that the enemy is William Ruto. Activist Morara Kebaso took to his social media pages to reveal they continue to advocate for justice and job opportunities for the Kenyan youth and free the country from corrupt activities.
