Nairobi Restaurant Week 2026 Returns

A 10-Day Culinary Celebration of the City’s Finest Flavours

EatOut is proud to announce the 2026 edition of Nairobi Restaurant Week (NRW2026), the city’s most celebrated annual restaurant festival. Running from January 22nd to February 1st, 2026, the event is officially endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism, Magical Kenya and the Nairobi City Council, marking it as a key highlight on the tourism and hospitality calendar.

For ten days, Nairobi’s finest dining establishments will open their doors with specially designed menus and offers. The event serves as a platform to showcase the incredible diversity and world-class standards of the city’s culinary landscape, from contemporary African fusion to international fine dining.

“Nairobi’s dining scene is a vibrant reflection of our city’s energy,” says Wendy Lorenze, General Manager at EatOut. “Through NRW2026, we aim to put a spotlight on the craftsmanship of our local chefs and provide diners with an unforgettable experience. We are honored to have the continued support of our industry partners as we celebrate the best of what Nairobi has to offer.”

A Global Celebration of Excellence
Restaurant Weeks has become a staple for foodies in many major cities around the world including Dubai, London & New York. These events offer a unique opportunity to experience the city’s top-tier restaurants through curated menus. Each participating venue has been challenged to create a menu that reflects their best work, available exclusively during this period.

“Nairobi Restaurant Week is an exciting opportunity for our city’s restaurants, chefs, and food lovers. We are proud to support this initiative that promotes Nairobi as a culinary destination and celebrates local talent,” said Governor Johnson Sakaja, Governor of Nairobi City County.

Representing the official endorsement of the event, Magical Kenya stated: “We are pleased to endorse Nairobi Restaurant Week 2026. Events like this are essential in positioning Nairobi as a premier culinary hub in Africa. By showcasing our diverse hospitality sector, we invite both local visitors and international visitors to explore the unique flavors that make Kenya a ‘Magical’ destination.”
