Barely a month after indefinite closure of Mukumu Girls’ High School, the institution eventually returned to operation as students across the country resumed back to learning on Monday, 8 May, 2023, from a long holiday.
Students who have been previously instructed to report in phases beginning with form fours, were taken through a medical desk and asked to display their medical reports for check ups and confirmation of information regarding every student’s health record.
This follows a series of changes made in the school, through the ministry of education led by Hon. Ezekiel Machogu, from assignment of new management team to creating a new food stock to be consumed by both the teachers and students of the said institution.
Other students are expected to report using the same criteria in the subsequent weeks as parents are now re-assured on the safety of their children in the school.
