Mt Kenya Politician Breathes Brimstone, Exposes Gachagua’s Plan to Bar Raila from Kimathi’s Burial

Former Murang’a county governor Hon Mwangi Wa Iria has alleged government’s plans to bar Azimio leader Raila Odinga from making presence in the burial ceremony of Mukami Kimathi

The vocal Mt Kenya politician said this as preparations to send off Mama Mukami kimathi is underway, scheduled for Saturday this week.

While addressing the press, he boldly and openly linked Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua with the plan to attempt blocking the veteran opposition leader, citing politics as the key factor behind the skew.

Wa Iria referenced Odinga as esteemed fighter for the rights of the Mau Mau warriors, lauding that Mr Odinga even made efforts for the government to recognize them.

“He actually sent his envoy, lawyers to the UK to fight for the compensation of mau maus for what they suffered. They were actually compensated a token so when Rigathi is telling Raila not to attend what is he telling us? He is saying that Raila should not feature anywhere it is him who should feature and we have never heard of him, we only heard of him when he was appointed the other day”. Wa Iria said.

Based on the grounds of his argument, Mwangi Wa Iria regarded it absolutely absurd for DP Gachagua to warn Raila Odinga not to try making steps into the burial ceremony of the late Field Marshall Mukami Kimathi.

In what many expects to see happening, Raila and Ruto’s team will possibly share a podium for the first time since the August 9th general elections. Can this happen?
