Miguna Miguna Finally Receives A New Kenyan Passport

Controversial lawyer Dr. Miguna Miguna received a new Kenyan passport yesterday after living in Canada for five year.

Miguna was exiled to Canada in March 2018 after swearing in ODM leader Raila Odinga as the People’s President. In November 2021, he was declined to travel back to Kenya by Air France over a Red Alert and was ordered to sign legal forms to have his new passport renewed but was denied by former government headed by Mr. Kenyatta through Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i.

He revealed that it was through President William Ruto’s directive that he got his new passport after his old passport was destroyed. Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro however confirmed that Miguna will not take any political post in Kenya since he has proven to rattle secrets of any party if provoked.

“1687 days after Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga, Fred Matiang’i, Karanja Kibicho and Gordon Kihalangwa conspired to illegally seize and destroyed my Kenyan passport, President William Ruto has had a new one delivered to me. Waiting for the lifting of red alerts,” he tweeted.
