Man Kills Elder Brother Over A Love Triangle With Their Younger Sister

A 31-year-old man has killed his elder brother after the deceased found him in a compromising situation with their younger sister last Saturday.

It is alleged that Bernard Njere descended on his elder brother Samuel Irungu at Chema village in Baricho, Kirinyaga county,after he was found in a compromising situation with their 17th year old sister who also had a clandestine love affair with victim. The deceased could not come to terms with what he had witnessed and fight ensued leading to his death.

According to the sleuths from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, the late was hit using a blunt object on the head and face and died while undergoing treatment at  the Karatina Sub-County hospital.

“The deceased who also had a clandestine love affair with the 17-year old and couldn’t come to terms with what he had witnessed descended on his brother with fury, prompting a fierce fight that led to his demise. The deceased was hit using a blunt object on the head, face and the back died while undergoing treatment at the Karatina Sub-County hospital.” Said police

The murder suspect who escaped from the murder scene is still at large and efforts are being made to arrest and charge him in a court of law.
