Majid Al Futtaim, which owns the exclusive rights to operate Carrefour in Kenya, has expanded its presence with the opening of its 30th store at Waris Mall, Ruai — creating over 40 new jobs and deepening partnerships with local suppliers, farmers, and small businesses.
The new store reinforces Majid Al Futtaim’s steadfast commitment to support Kenya’s economy while delivering on its promise of quality, convenience, and value for customers.
Spanning 1,500 square metres, the outlet will serve the wider eastern Nairobi region, offering a full range of everyday essentials and fresh produce sourced directly from Kenyan farmers for Kenyan families.
With this opening, Majid Al Futtaim now operates 30 Carrefour stores nationwide — including 25 in Nairobi and its surrounding satellite towns, four in Mombasa, and one in Kisumu.
