Kithure Kindiki Issues Stern Warning To Rigathi Gachagua

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has warned Rigathi Gachagua about his bad words to William Ruto.

Since his impeachment late last year, former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua has been on a public rant about his former boss William Ruto. He has accused him of betraying the mountain after they voted for him without questioning his tribe. He has also gone ahead to reveal that the Mt. Kenya region will never support him again, even in his reelection bid.

Gachagua’s replacement, Kithure Kindiki, has, however, warned him by saying that he does not speak on behalf of the Mt. Kenya region. “The former DP cannot purport to make decisions on behalf of the people of Mt. Kenya. He doesn’t own the people of the mountain. He cannot threaten us,” Kindiki asserted. “The former DP should be panicking over the consultative forums we are holding. He hasn’t seen anything yet. We will run him out of town. When the time comes, he will know there are men in this town,” the DP added.

The former Mathira legislator Gachagua is engaging in talks with different political leaders on how to form a coalition alliance.
