Kenya Airways has announced an increase in flight frequency to Kisumu over the weekend to cater to high travel demand. The national carrier made the announcement through its social media platforms, reaffirming its commitment to providing seamless travel experiences for passengers.
“We’ve increased our flight frequency to Kisumu over the weekend to accommodate the high travel demand. We remain committed to ensuring seamless travel for all our guests,” Kenya Airways stated.
According to the schedule released, two additional flights — KQ656 at 1:30 p.m. and KQ658 at 7:00 p.m. — have been added on Friday, October 17. On Saturday, October 18, flight KQ650 will depart at 6:50 a.m., while KQ654 at 8:05 a.m. will be upgraded to a Boeing 737 aircraft.
The airline further confirmed that on Sunday, October 19, flights KQ654 (8:05 a.m.) and KQ671 (7:00 p.m.) will also operate using Boeing 737s. The same upgrades will apply to Monday’s KQ654 and KQ670 flights.
Kenya Airways emphasized that the adjustments were made to ensure passengers enjoy efficient travel and to accommodate the increased movement of people over the weekend.
