Jalang’o Kicked Out Of The Azimio MPs Retreat

Lang’ata Member of Parliament Felix Odiwuor known by his popular name Jalang’o was today debarred from joining fellow Azimio MPs in a retreat led by Raila Odunga at Maanzoni Lodge, Machakos County.

While speaking to the media few minutes after been denied access to the venue,Jalang’o said he had been blocked by the security in charge before his colleagues intervened and finally got him in only to be asked out by Baba’s colse security later.

“When I came in, a few boys tried to block me but later I was allowed in. But when Raila walked in, his close security told me to get out,” he said.

Jalang’o also restated his membership and loyalty to the ODM party saying that he is still an ardent supporter of Raila before peacefully making his way out of the place.

“I feel bad that I have been kicked out of the meeting. I’m still in Azimio and ODM and fully support Raila,” he said.

Jalang’o was among ODM party members who met president William Ruto and his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua earlier in the week. The MP defended his move to meet the head of state in State House Nairobi saying the meeting was for the good of his constituents.

The move to engage the President has however gotten him(Jalang’o) in trouble with ODM loyalists including the party leader Raila Odinga who during the retreat termed Jalang’o and the others as traitors who should resign from the party.
