Jackton Odhiambo ,the prime suspect over Chiloba’s death has confessed that he murdered Chiloba as revenge for betraying him in their relationship.
Odhiambo made the confession shortly after being arrested by police officers in Eldoret town on Friday, January 6,2023 over links to the brutal murder of Chiloba.
Following Odhiambo’s confession, police are now investigating a possible love triangle. It was determined by Langas OCPD John Odhiambo that the suspect colluded with two of his friends to kill Chiloba.
Police said they established that Odhiambo and Chiloba used to live together as ‘husband and wife’.
On 1st January when the duo arrived at their house at 3.00am, the neighbours said they heard some commotion which subsided after a while.Moments later they spotted two people loading a metal box into a vehicle whose registration number was concealed and left.
Chiloba’s lifeless body was found stuffed inside a metallic box along Kipenyo- Katinga Road in Uasin Gishu County.
