Itax System To Be Unavailable On Saturday Night

The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has confirmed that the iTax system will be completely unavailable tonight, Saturday, 13th June 2026, from 8:00 PM until Sunday, 14th June 2026, at 12:00 AM.

Downtime TimelineAccording to the official notice posted by the Kenya Revenue Authority on X, the system upgrade details include:Start Time: Saturday, 13th June 2026, at 8:00 PM.End Time: Sunday, 14th June 2026, at 12:00 AM.Total Duration: 4 hours.

Affected ServicesDuring this 4-hour routine maintenance window, all online tax administration services will be inaccessible. You will not be able to:File annual tax returns (crucial ahead of the June 30 deadline).Generate E-slip payment vouchers or make tax payments.

Register new KRA PINs.Apply for Tax Compliance Certificates (TCC).Taxpayers are advised to log out and complete any urgent transactions before 8:00 PM tonight or wait until services resume at midnight.
