Interior and National Administration Cabinet Secretary nominee Prof Kithure Kindiki has disclosed that his networth amounts to Ksh. 544 in land and buildings.
The former Tharaka Nithi Senator revealed this when he appeared before the National Assembly committee for vetting after the he was appointed by President Wiliam Ruto to be the Interior CS.
According to Kindiki, the amount includes buildings and bank deposits accrued from salary and businesses including his law firm.
“My wealth is Ksh. 544 million which is made up of land and buildings of Ksh. 165 million, bank deposits of Ksh. 50 million, investments in shares and deposits in 5 different saccos.” said Kindiki
The vetting of Cabinet secretaries enters day 2 with more nominees expected before the panel today.
