Hassan Joho To Be Summoned By The Senate Over His Remarks

Nairobi senator Edwin Sifuna has come out to tell Kenyans not to fear any leader who issues threats.

His sentiments come at a time when both Mining Cabinet Secretary Hassan Joho and President William Ruto called out Kenyans online for always posting and saying negative things about the government online. Joho issued a warning to Kenyans online as they will face the wrath for their continued uproar online. Kennyans however online  turned a  blind eye on Joho and most of the users told him he cannot do anything.

Edwin Sifuna has now come out to ask Kenyans to continue raising their voices and not to fear any leader who issues threats. “My message to Kenyans is that you should not be threatened by a leader. You have already taken back your power because you used to live like you didn’t know that you were more powerful than these people. We will summon him when  we return” he said.

Sifuna has been one of the few leaders who have been true to the people since the demonstrations and has constantly called out leaders who misuse their power.
