In a heist, an unknown number of people suspected of being thugs invaded the Machakos Hospitality Technical Institute in Machakos town and killed a night guard.
The body of Fidels Muthama Muthini, 28, was discovered at the institute’s reception by colleagues who had arrived for work. According to police, the group stole unknown items from the institution.
On the forehead and back of the head, the deceased had three severe cuts. Police claimed the gang killed Muthini before starting their objective after cutting the padlock to the reception area.
Prior to an autopsy, the body was taken to the mortuary. The incident on May 26 is still under investigation, according to authorities. A 33-year-old man named Joshua Oduor Ochieng was killed in a robbery incident in the Bungoma hamlet of Busire by unidentified assailants.
