Guard Killed In Machakos Technical Institute Night Raid

In a heist, an unknown number of people suspected of being thugs invaded the Machakos Hospitality Technical Institute in Machakos town and killed a night guard.

The body of Fidels Muthama Muthini, 28, was discovered at the institute’s reception by colleagues who had arrived for work. According to police, the group stole unknown items from the institution.

On the forehead and back of the head, the deceased had three severe cuts. Police claimed the gang killed Muthini before starting their objective after cutting the padlock to the reception area.

Prior to an autopsy, the body was taken to the mortuary. The incident on May 26 is still under investigation, according to authorities. A 33-year-old man named Joshua Oduor Ochieng was killed in a robbery incident in the Bungoma hamlet of Busire by unidentified assailants.

Police claimed he was taken to the nearby hospital but passed away while receiving treatment. According to the police, they are hunting for the murderer(s) and their motive.In another incidence in the Sunton, a renter named Samuel Mwangi committed suicide in his home.

Mwangi’s body was discovered with a rope around his neck hanging from the roof of his home. According to the police, the deceased ran a bar, and one of his staff members reported that the man showed signs of stress and excessive intoxication as he discussed his final days on earth.

The corpse was taken to the mortuary for an autopsy and additional investigation. Suicide cases have increased recently, and there have been efforts to stop the trend. According to the police, they receive up to two suicide instances each day.
