Many would outrightly term it as betrayal. A friendship between musician Akothee’s sister Cebbie Koks and South Africa based businessman Zari Hassan ofcourse!
This goes down to the long-term beef between Zari and Akothee which took over social media yet again,a month ago.The two boss ladies in their own capacities are not such great friends.
Over the Easter holidays, Akothee held a lavish wedding ceremony at the Windsor Golf Hotel & Country Club in Nairobi. A week later, reports emerged that Zari had also tied the knot in a private wedding, just 48 hours after Akothee’s wedding.
Netizens were quick to conclude that Zari wedded just because Akothee also had a wedding, claims that Zari refuted blatantly.
Zari and Akothee last saw eye to eye in 2019 when the latter invited the former for a motivation talk to women on how to cope with life after breakups. After that their social media activities suggestively spoke of their broken friendship.
Well, it is no doubt Akothee and younger sister Cebbie Koks have not been reading from the same script for quite some time. It even got to the point that the two did not attend each others weddings.
Akothee would then go public about her misunderstandings with Cebbie among other relatives, saying their feud was fuelled by jealousy because of her wealth.
Now, Cebbie and Zari seem to be greatest of friends on social media. This is after Cebbie reacted to a post put up by Zari, calling her ‘queen’ and then Zari responding with love emojis.
“Believe me, there isn’t a single person you need more in this life than you need yourself. Always put yourself first! Read that again,” Zari captioned her post before Cebbie replied with ‘queen’.
Could this friendship be intentional?
