Former Rongo Member of Parliament Dalmas Otieno is dead. According to credible sources, the politician died at the age of 80.
Otieno served as a Cabinet minister during the coalition government after being appointed by President Mwai Kibaki.
He first entered national politics in 1988 when he was elected as the Member of Parliament for Rongo Constituency.
