Edwin Sifuna Dares Members To Leave ODM And Join UDA

Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has told members who want to leave the ODM party to do so.

Over the past few weeks, there have been rumours surrounding the ODM party. It is reported that there are divisions within the party over whether ODM should field a presidential candidate in 2027 or support William Ruto. This is largely due to the fact that Raila Odinga is running for the AUC seat this month. It is highly unlikely that Odinga will run for the top seat regardless of the results of the AU chairperson elections.

Speaking on Wednesday, Sifuna dared members who are tired of fighting for Kenyans to leave the party and join the UDA under Ruto. “I will continue standing on the side of the truth. If something is wrong, I will call it out as it is. Those feeling like they are tired of defending Kenyans can leave the party and join UDA at once so they can stay there with Ruto,” Sifuna stated.

Sifuna has been very vocal in calling out the Kenya Kwanza administration under William Ruto, despite his fellow members in the ODM party defending the president.
