Julius Ogamba, the Cabinet Secretary for Education has sent stern warning to anyone that would be found attempting to compromise the credibility of the KCSE exams, which commenced on Monday November, 4.

Speaking during a media briefing, while leading the distribution of the 2024 KCSE papers at KNEC containers in Kibra, Nairobi, the CS put it clear that the Ministry deploys its full committed to ensure there’s total credibility of this year’s exams reiterating that anyone found in malpractices will not be spared.

Anybody found engaging in exam malpractice will be arrested and prosecuted, whether it is a student, teacher, parent or government official,” warned the Minister.

Dismissing reports that certain papers have leaked out, Ogamba mentioned that no one was allowed to access the containers with phone gadgets thereby giving no room for exams to leak out. He also revealed that the Ministry working closely with the security agencies, will keep an eye on social media to uproot individuals purporting via social media that they have access to the ongoing exam papers.
