Akothee Buys Wedding Dress and Bridal Shoes at Ksh. 700k and Ksh. 172k Respectively ahead of April Wedding Day

Kenya’s flamboyant artiste and the CEO of Akothee Foundation popularly known as Akothee, has once again shown off to online fans revealing huge amount of money her husband spent on her for their wedding preparations.

The singer, who lately announced that she will be having her wedding come next month April, is currently enjoying life in the luxurious capital city of Switzerland, Bern.

Akothee, ahead of their long awaited wedding day with Swiss fiancée Mr. Schweizer she dubbed Omosh, stepped feet into upmarket Switzerland-based Mery’s Couture, where she came out with an expensive gown whose price was estimated at 4,800 CFH gown equivalent to Ksh. 690k.

This wasn’t the only item that could exhaust her fat pockets. She also went for bridal shoes that cost 1,200 CFH approximated to be Ksh. 172k.

Speaking to Citizen Digital in an exclusive interview, Akothee added that she didn’t intend to have her shoppings in Switzerland but in Paris so she may set her eyes on her boys and daughter.

However, she termed it impossible due to ongoing demonstrations that bared her plans to fly to Paris.

She said, “I had planned to shop in Paris, so I could see both my husband, my boys, and my daughter within 5 days, but due to strikes and demonstrations, I couldn’t make it to France or even to put an eye on my boys. I also wanted to shop in Paris because I didn’t want Mr. Omondi to see my shopping especially the dress.”

The dress which the singer termed as her birthday gift for this year 2023, is an Autumn white lace fishtail marvel garlanded with sparkly Swarovski stones.

Of course, these are precious gifts that explains to Akothee how much deeper into pockets can her husband go when it comes to their love and matrimony.

In relation, she said she’s grown all her lifelong without receiving gifts but finding true love has given her lessons on what love is.

I rarely receive gifts in my entire life – people believe I have more than enough, therefore, finding love has taught me how being loved looks like,” she added.

As she had announced in her most recent post, Akothee’s fairytale wedding is planned to go down on the Easter Monday, 10th of April 2023 at the paradisiacal sprawling Windsor Gardens.
