Actress Sandra Dacha And Mike Wako Exchange Bitter Words At Ochonjo’s Fundraising Event

A dramatic encounter was witnessed on Thursday at the Kenya National Theatres after actress Sandra Dacha and content creator Mike Wako exchanged harsh words during the candle lighting and fundraising event of the late comedian and actor Dancun Ochonjo.

The incident which was captured on a video and later shared by bloggers, depicted Ndacha arguing with Wako for allegedly lying to people that he supported Ochojo yet he abandoned him at the time he needed him. In his speech, wako explained how he never knew that Ochojo was ill since they had already parted ways due to the latter being alcoholic.

According to Wako, he had to end their work relationship due to Ochonjo’s frequent alcohol abuse which in return affected their professionalism. However, he revealed that Ochonjo was sober for quite a period before turning to alcoholism after his mother’s demise.

“Let me tell the truth. I used to work with Ochonjo and the main reason I stopped working with him is because of what you people have complained about, alcohol,” Wako said.

The comedian went ahead to acknowledge that he only realized of the actor’s illness after he visited him for a job offer only to find him at the hospital bed. He prompted to film the whole situation despite Ochojo’s reluctance as he wanted to keep it out of public eye. Wako took a step further and shared the news on social media where he later faced backlash for the act.

At the time of speech, Dacha couldn’t hold it anymore as she started shouting at the comedian. He asked him to stop lying to the public as all of them failed the late Ochojo for no one was there in his dire time of need.

“Mike wako wacha uongo. We failed Ochonjo… We were not there for Ochonjo,” Dacha shouted.

Wako struggled to continue with the speech but he was cut short and forced to leave the establishment as the drama heated further. Several personalities tried to calm the duo down to no avail.
