In Givole, Hamisi subcounty, an accident involving six vehicles has occurred on the Kisumu-Kakamega route.
According to Benjamin Ong’ombe, the police chief for Vihiga County, a truck rammed into the cars after losing control owing to bad brakes.
There weren’t any losses.
He said that they had sent officers to the area to secure it.Those who had been hurt were transported to the county referral hospital to be treated.
“Even if we don’t have clear data, we’ve dispatched some of our officers to gather the genuine figures and the situation,” he explained.
Ong’ombe encouraged Vihiga vendors and traders to avoid doing business near the road areas.
