Azimio party leadership has pointed fingers at DP Gachagua and Trade CS Moses Kuria as key leaders in the recruitment of goons who cause chaos during Azimio Anti-government mass protests.
Speaking during a press brief on Tuesday May 2, the Narc-Kenya party leader alleged the ongoing chaos and looting of properties as brainchild’s of DP Gachagua and Moses Kuria using youth from Central region.
According to the Azimio co-principal, the youth from Mt Kenya region had been used to invade former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Northland farm and similar invasion happened at the Jubilee headquarters lately.
“It is the youth from Central Kenya who are being used to fight. They were used to invade the Northlands farm and the Jubilee headquarters recently.” Said Martha Karua.
She added that, not only have the same youth been misused by the aforementioned leaders to disrupt chaos in the homes of Azimio leaders, but they have also been behind the disruptive incidences experienced in Nairobi.
Embattled Jubilee SG Mr Jeremiah Kioni lauded Karua’s words, saying the plan was drafted and organized at Moses Kuria’s residence on 26th of March.
He went further to link other Kenya Kwanza leaders from Central region like Kimani Ichungwa, Ndindi Nyoro, Sabina Chege and mentioning DP Gachagua as the father of the troop.
The Azimio team however, continued to distance themselves from destruction of properties in various parts of the country during these protests, emphasizing on a peaceful demonstrations since day one.
